Last year we organized the Metathlon. But that did not come very well. You are wrong and we take you from the excitement. More often when there is half the gulp of beer very fast.
Last year we organized the Metathlon. But that did not come very well. You are wrong and we take you from the excitement. More often when there is half the gulp of beer very fast.
This year we decided to hold a contest much more down to earth: that in reality is not really a competition. A sort of cross between an invitation, an invitation and a "come and we want to slaughter."
In essence: who will come from further afield to see the Miodio will receive, at the entrance, a prize that includes:
- Entrance same
-Three beers (less so you die thirst)
-A ticket to the dinner
A-shirt MiOdi

The contest closes on 7 June (by then so we have thought about whether to come or not?).

MiOdi 2010 - The program

Exactly a year since the first edition and its success (more than 2000 people , always on Wednesday) is back MiOdi, the festival at excessive volume for 'man and woman should not ever ask for. Also because just look at the list of groups. What else could ever want, those two?
The goal is always the same: making a hellish noise and draw a map of sounds "heavy" that are shaking salt test, local, stereo, iPod, computer speakers, living rooms, bedrooms and radio throughout Italy (and beyond). And have fun . To be honest above all this. The history of the map there are invented to give us a tune.
Key new features this year are two.
The first is the opening to non-Italian groups . There are three: 16 (USA), Amen Ra (BE) and Nadja (CAN) and excellent hand-picked. Because everybody says but we really believe it: in music there should be no borders. The MiOdi is not a metal festival Is not a hardcore festival , not a punk festival . O noise . O d ' advanced . Or a festival of Italian groups, for that matter. We had never said it. So this year we have taken the liberty to choose a handful of foreign groups and mix them with those of our house. On the other hand, maybe you believe that Zu or Cripple Bastards (headliner last year) groups are Italians? Anagrafe maybe. But for strength, style, and it is not that important.
The second new feature is the addition of a stage, said "Mexico". Così fan four. The choice comes from the desire to further tighten the relationship between band and audience: the Mexican, in fact, is open on three sides and cancels the concept of "front". One way as another (nay, a better way) to enjoy the concerts.
Like last year there will be food, and like last year there will be feasting on musical instruments, discs, shirts, books and other . Besides the obvious merchandising groups.
